I live on the east coast of Canada in Ammon New Brunswick, just outside of Moncton. I work full time outside the home as a Office Manager and I work any where from 40-50 hours a week. The people I work with are all pretty amazing and are very caring and loving. I love what I do and that is why I am there.

So I came into network marketing about 4 years ago from an ad I saw in our local newspaper. You can make $5000 a month. Let me find out about it. I was at that point, working as an office manager of a Carpet, Upholstery Cleaning and looking after a Telemarketing office in the same building and I was at a total standstill in my life. No chance of advancement.

But that job served the purpose I needed. My middle daughter Danielle was in and out of hospitals most of her life. I needed to be able to leave my job at the blink of an eye if I needed to and be gone for anywhere from a few hours up to two weeks at a time. My boss and job allowed me to do this. But Danielle got better (thank the Lord) and did not require this anymore. I am a mother of three beautiful daughters Jennifer 24, Danielle 21 and Candice 11.

But I also wanted more in life, and I wanted a secure financial future. I have been in Network Marketing for over 4 years now. As most people starting out, I really had no idea how to build a network marketing company because I did not really know anyone who had built one. I had tried to build two companies but was getting nowhere. Then I was offered this ebook called "Success in 10 Steps", and I could not put it down, it just made so much sense to me why I was not successful.

I had a three way call with Michael Dlouhy. I listened to what he had to say and heard him tell me "Penny it is not your fault." This big relief came over me then when he offered free training calls, so I could learn the skills and get some knowledge I needed. I am Making My Dream a Reality

I was introduced to network marketing a few years ago. He did not have to tell me twice. You mean I can use and share this product and possibly never have to work again? I worked so very hard, even with 4 kids under the age of 6 at the time. My husband was such a great support. However, my upline talked me into 2 more deals, tried for a third and I said there has gotta be a better way.

I went to the internet and bought an ebook. I asked for help, joined their team because they would sell me leads, teach me how to convert those leads, and at least I'd have real people interested. That's a long story, but the outcome was a great learning experience. I am still reaping the benefits of the relationships I built there. I cold-called 350 leads or more, converted a few, and learned how to talk to people much better than I had. I also spent a good bit of money without much in return. The leads dried up, the leader moved on to selling other information products and I was told "Good-bye, good luck."

One of my associates in that organization stumbled across an ebook called "Success in 10 Steps" and thought I'd like it, so she sent it to me by email. I didn't read it right away. I called the person I got it from and asked lots of questions. "Just read the book." She wouldn't tell me what company she was in, just assured me this group of people could help me.

And it has. Many people in the Mentoring For Free family have helped me realize that I truly can do anything through education and teamwork. My husband, Terry, is the most incredible person in the world. He has stayed with the kids, taken over when he comes home from his job, supported me even when there was no money coming in yet. HE is the real reason I am so successful. My own incredible team also inspire me to be a better person every day. I give God full credit for putting it all together on my behalf as my primary business partner.

We have 4 beautiful kids, 3 adopted from Liberia, Africa. I want to go back with lots of food, medicine, Limu, Bibles, school supplies regularly to this little country and help other children and their parents.

Eureka! I Knew I Had Found The Truth At Last!

2004 was the year that took me way off course. My youngest sister Teresia lost her battle with cancer. Eight months later my older sister Scheryl lost her battle with cancer. I was the primary caretaker for both. My manager allowed me to work part time to perform this labor of love. I eventually took a leave of absence from my job. This allowed me to spend invaluable quality time with my family. Something that I have longed for since learning about Network Marketing. The time freedom was wonderful but, I had no money to do the things I longed to do. I was determined not to go back full time at my job.

When I was 6 years old my parents were told that I had a disability. I am legally blind. My parents taught me to live life on my own terms and never to label myself disabled. They taught me to focus on my abilities. So I have always done that. My vision will never be perfect. There are visual aids that help though. Life will not be perfect. Business will not be perfect.

Sitting at my computer one day in 2005, a mentor stepped into my life. I downloaded an eBook called "Success In 10 Steps". Here was the truth about why I was struggling to have success in network marketing. Here was yet another tool that gave me a "slight edge". Here also were people that were smart, caring, and eager to help me reset my sails. So each day I sat reading, with my many mentors helping me gain the skills and knowledge to get back on course.

I was ready to do whatever it took as long as it was moral, legal, and ethical. My husband and I had been toiling away for years losing money, time, and friends trying in vain to have success. We joined a company located in our hometown and thought we had it made. But once again we were not successful.

On that hot day in June, 2oo5 I clicked a link on the Internet that led me to a free ebook called Success in 10 Steps. I printed out a copy and read it immediately. Eureka! There it was! All the answers to my questions of WHY we failed over and over and over again. Finally the truth at last! And to my surprise I discovered that it was not my fault (as I had been told it was my fault over and over again)

When I finished all 90+ pages, I was standing a bit taller. I had found the truth at last. I also found the courage to change my circumstances. My next course of action was to call the person I downloaded the book from. Wow! What a great experience that was. Here I was for the first time talking to a stranger that I met over the Internet and it felt like I had known this person for years. What a great day that was! And every day since I found Mentoring for Free!

We are actively living the life we dreamed of for so many years. And best part is that we are now the ones helping others discover Mentoring For Free. It makes Network Marketing purposeful and meaningful when you can assist others in realizing their dreams. This is not a sales business - it is a teaching and mentoring business.

Grateful for the Freedom That We Have

Earl and I were married in May 2006 and between us we are proud parents of four wonderful sons and two beautiful daughters. We are very grateful for the freedom that we have at this stage in our lives, that allows us to spend so much quality time together.

Earl is looking forward to retiring from the fire department in the next couple of years and joining me in my network marketing business.
