Awesome Network Marketing Convention Part 3

Who visualized and won a brand new 2008 Ford Mustang?

Our business team had a drawing at the convention for a brand new 2008 Ford Mustang!
There were other prises in the drawing as well, like a laptop computer, a cabin for two on the team 's cruise coming up in February, products, and a coaching ticket (training with a leader on the team). We all supported the drawing by purchasing coaching tickets and visualizing ourselves (or the person we felt deserved the car) winning and driving the mustang home.

There was one particular person who had a visualization story so detailed and real sounding that I knew she was going to win the car. (At least I thought she would win the car.) She had her story filled with little details, like what she would be wearing, who would be standing next to her when her name was called, what the weather would be like, etc. (By the way, I was standing next to her when her name was called and I got a video clip on my cell phone of her running and jumping into the arms of our team leader.)

It is an awesome feeling when you see someone get the good that they deserve, and to know that you helped, even in a small way, to make it happen. You see, she is part of a group of mentors that help other people learn the skills they need to be successful in any network marketing business. She does this for F*R*E*E. She is helping me to become a leader. We can help you become a leader, too. Your first step to owning your own life is to download this f*r*e*e e-book,

My friend, that won the mustang, took her time driving around the country on her way home, visiting other people that helped her win the car. Now she is home, but she was building her business the whole trip back. That is definitely one trait of a leader, to persevere!

Yes, I learned a lot at the business convention. I also met people in just a couple of days that have become my friends for life.

Before the convention started, when I got on the motel shuttle from the airport, I met a couple that I got to know well at the convention. They made me feel important to them by saving me a seat at the table beside them. They would watch for me when I came into the meeting room and let me know that they had a seat saved for me. We are close in age, both have grandchildren, and we both want to help others. I felt like I'd known them all my life. Many lifelong friendships were made during those few days.

Another young couple that I met have kept in contact with me since the convention and are encouraging me and helping me to be successful by answering my questions, and giving me suggestions. As busy as they are, they have time for each one that has questions or needs help.

There were people from Sweden, Norway, Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, USA, and more countries from around the world. I met people who had been in network marketing for years and some that just joined recently. The people who were making loads of money were no different than you and me. One very successful man said, "I put my pants on the same way everyone else does, one leg at a time." They were all very willing to share their knowledge with all of us. All of them started in the network business at the same beginning level like we did.

They are people who want to help others like I do. We are a team of mentors. We are a BIG family of mentors with a servant's heart who want to give back to others from what we have been given. We are not any luckier than you. You can have success too! the first step is to download the f*ree e-book, then take action and we will help you all the way. Please contact me with any questions. My contact information is attached to the e-book.

Awesome Network Marketing Convention, Part 2

Where was my roommate? What was happening next? How would I remember everything I was learning?

These questions were going through my head as our team headed a dinner together on the second night of my first convention. I was trying to remember names and faces, as well as where they were from. There were people from all over the USA and Canada, as well as Norway, United Kingdom, and Sweden, to name a few. All four types of personalities were evident, too.

Our group this evening was a smaller group of about 17 people who belonged to a team of 'leaders in-the-making'. One man in the group had made reservations for us at a Mexican restaurant and lead the way, walking about four or five blocks from the motel.

While we were waiting for our food, a crisp $100 bill was awarded to a young couple who had accomplished a requirement for that award, and we presented out team leader with a plaque of recognition for her leadership. Many pictures were taken and we all talked about business and life in general.

That evening I found out what happened to my roommate. She had been on her way to the airport to come to convention, when she blacked out with a stroke (TIA). Her husband took her
to the hospital for treatment, instead. I can't imagine how disappointed she was. We had all been looking forward to this event for a year. (She has a 'yellow' personality. She cares very much for other people. She was a nurse.) She had left a message on a team member's cell phone, but since she had just started using the phone, she hadn't figured out how to get messages from the phone, yet.

O.K. Now what was I to do? I admit I was thinking only of myself when I thought about the credit card bill with 4 nights of an expensive motel on it. (Even with the special rate it was expensive for me, a 'common Jane') When I had expected to share the bill with one or maybe more people, I was not sure what to do, now. I guess my 'yellow' personality was worrying about the cost of convention and not letting me enjoy and learn.

We have heard from the top to "Ask for Help". So I asked a couple of my team members if they had any ideas of what I could do. They said not to worry about it, it would be alright. They would mention it to our team leader. I imagined someone paying for my motel stay and how that would show how caring and selfless this group of people are. I could tell all about what a awesome team I have and the world would be a wonderful place... O.K. I got a bit carried away there! They are an awesome team, but that is not what happened.

The next morning, after pleading on my knees, I had the thought of asking someone that was staying alone in a room, if they wanted to room with me. Since I was on the same floor as the Presidential Suite, where we got together every night for pizza and brainstorming until the wee hours of the morning, that would save us both money and her the time of going back to a room on a different floor of the motel.

I had two people in mind to ask to room with me. When I got off the elevator, a few minutes later, I saw one of the people I had thought of. Upon telling her my situation, and asking her if she would be willing to share a room with me, she asked if I had talked to the front desk about it. I had not, yet, as I was waiting until I found someone willing to make the change. She said she snored, I said I have earplugs, besides, sometimes I talk in my sleep. She might have a friend coming in to stay too, not a problem. 'The more the merrier.'

Well, this lady is a leader, because she took the bull by the horns and made the arrangements before lunch. (She was also a 'blue' personality, very outgoing and loves to have fun.) The front desk said that she just needed to be out of her room by 2:00p.m. I went across the street to get us some lunch from the mall's food court, and she went to pack up her stuff to move.

I brought the food back and waited for her in the room. After awhile, I was beginning to think she forgot what the room number was (also a 'blue' personality trait). Sure enough, when she did arrive at the room, she told me that she had to ask our team leader what room number I was staying in. (Our team leader has a 'green' personality. She remembered details, even though I only told her once.)

We shared the room for the last two days of convention, and even shared the same name (first name only). We got to know a bit about each other and sharing the room helped us both.

It is interesting to figure out what personality each person is and it helps you to understand them and how they think. I have mentioned three of the four 'colors' of personality. The last color is 'red'. (They need to be in control.) To learn more about the four personalities, go to:

Well, that was how my immediate problem got solved, but convention wasn't over, yet.
The best is yet to come...

I want to tell you about a person who visualized and won a brand new 2008 Ford Mustang!

I will also tell you about the people who became dear friends (friends for life) in just a few days.

Awesome Network Marketing Convention, Part 1

I just attended my first business convention. It was awesome!!

I bought my reservation with an early discount. So that I wouldn't back out from going to the convention, I bought my plane ticket early, too. I asked within my team for a motel roommate and booked a room with two beds before I could change my mind.

Months passed and my business was slow to take off. I was working on personal growth and learning all I could from the leaders on my team. In the business that I am in, you can ask for help from anyone else in the business. Your up-line, side-line, even the president of the company will encourage you to believe in yourself. People who have the freedom to own their own lives are within this business.

When the time came for the convention, I was a little nervous, wondering how I would be accepted without a big down-line, only a few clients.

I needn't have worried. I got off the airplane onto the motel shuttle to find that it was full of people going to the same convention that I was going to. We shared names, where we were from, and how long we had been in this business. Instead of feeling all alone, I was part of this group.

When we got to the motel, I started looking for my roommate. She was not checked in yet, so I called one of my team. No one had seen her or heard from her yet, so I got settled in the room before going to the team leaders room.

As I walked up to the door of the presidential suite I noticed that it was propped open slightly so that anyone could go in. I heard laughter and talking inside, but was unsure if I should enter. As I was standing outside the door, actually starting to walk away, someone opened the door and came out. It was someone that I knew by phone but had never met personally before. She called me by name and ran to give me a big hug. Then, she opened up the door to introduce me to the team leader. I was instantly welcomed and accepted into the group. I felt like I belonged.

I went down to the lobby to watch for my roommate, and several people came up to me and started talking. Everyone was introducing themselves, putting faces to names that they had heard by phone on the free training calls, giving hugs and exclaiming how glad they were to see everyone. More people kept coming and the family kept growing. Soon the lobby was very busy with people from all over the world.

A special dinner was provided the first evening for those at a certain level in the business. People were dressing up in formal wear and getting ready ride to that event in hummer limousines. Since there were some of us who were not at that level, we banded together and planned to eat together at a nearby restaurant. After we took pictures of our friends getting into the limos and riding off, we walked to a Japanese restaurant down the street.

We went around the group getting to know names and personalities and taking pictures while waiting for our food. We had a great time, but all agreed that we were going to be in the limos next year.

My roommate still had not checked in when we got back to the motel. I thought maybe I had mistaken the date of her arrival. No, I was informed that she had been planning to attend the limousine dinner. Still, no one was able to reach her by phone. Something was not right.

The next morning more people arrived, but my roommate was not one of them. I went to the table to get my ID badge and schedule. I found out that I had a ribbon of recognition on my name tag. That made me feel good about myself. Even though I was not as far as others, I still was very important in this business.

As the events started to accumulate and the training commenced, I began to realize that this business is more than everything that was promised.

A 5 Pillars Company:

1. Management with Experience and Integrity

2. Timing within the Company, Nationally & Globally

3. Remarkable Products that people need

4. Compensation Plan that rewards top performers & the part-time people

5. Proven Duplicable System that allows part-time or full-time people to create Royalty Income
